The categories are Small (1-50 local employees), Medium (51-200), and Large (201+). The company must be operating in the 16-County Charlotte Region and at least 51% foreign owned. We will have a list of firms with the number of employees available in our office to confirm the size and nationality of the firm. Nominated companies must contribute to the Charlotte regional community through philanthropy and volunteerism. Examples include, but are not limited to, in-kind donations, leave for volunteer activities, matching gifts, leadership in giving programs, fund drives, sponsorships, and other forms of corporate giving.
