Boards and Commissions
The City of Charlotte has approximately 40 advisory boards referred to as Boards and Commissions.  Citizens of Mecklenburg County can volunteer to participate by applying for a vacancy.  Interested citizens need to fill out an application and send it to the Office of the City Clerk.  Applications can be submitted at any time and are held for one year.  Boards meet at various times and locations.
