927 Central Avenue
The owner of this project had the creative vision to see potential in an old auto service and inspection station. Situated on a triangular site at the intersection of not two, but three heavily traveled streets, the location was converted to a studio that incorporates an original mural on the building and a newly added decorative wall, together with an urban evergreen and perennial garden.
The site, previously covered in its entirety with asphalt, now incorporates non-impervious surfaces consisting of brick pavers for the ADA parking, a gravel lot for other vehicles, and an urban evergreen and perennial garden. |

Office / retail conversion included extensive façade renovations: adding storefronts for new retail and dining options together with new office opportunities in Plaza Midwood. |

Zada Janes restaurant has become a popular eating establishment in Plaza Midwood. An adaptive reuse of an old dry cleaning building, the project included façade renovations as well as bringing the site into compliance. With the installation of a shuffleboard court, the restaurant provides a unique element of fun to the community. |

2907 Freedom Drive
The Shops at Freedom represent an important retail center on the Freedom Drive corridor that was in need of a facelift. The new parapet and masonry columns, among other improvements, have made a long-lasting and positive impact to the business district and surrounding residential communities, providing a more enjoyable shopping and working experience for both the businesses operating from the center and the community they serve. |
