Lost and Found

Lost items at Charlotte Douglas International Airport are turned into different agencies based on the location where they were lost.  If you know the exact location where the items were lost, please contact the corresponding agency.  If in doubt, please contact each agency individually.

Aircraft, or Boarding Area – the airline you flew on.  Click here for listing of airline contact information.

To report an item lost, please contact the Airport Lost and Found at 704-359-8765 and leave a message with

1. Your name, phone number and e-mail address

2. Date and location the item was lost or last seen

3. Description of the item.  If it is a cell phone, please leave the number of the cellphone, the carrier and the brand of the phone.

The office is staffed from noon until 2 p. m. daily.  If your item has been located, the administrator will contact you to arrange pick up.  You will not be contacted if the item was not turned in.

Property that remains unclaimed for 30 days will become the property of the City.
