Commissioner Karen Bentley
|
Karen Bentley is a Republican elected to her second term on the Board.
Commissioner Bentley serves on the Board of University City Partners and is a member of the South Iredell/North Mecklenburg United Family Services Advisory Board. She served on the Board of Directors of Lake Norman Charter School as well as serving as president of LNCS's PTO.
Professionally, Commissioner Bentley has 21 years of executive sales experience, receiving numerous sales and leadership awards. She received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Montana.

While at U of M, Commissioner Bentley was elected to the Associated Students of the University of Montana and was appointed to the Silent Sentinel, a select group of students working anonymously on projects enriching campus life.
Commissioner Bentley is married with two teenaged daughters.
