ROUTES 2, 16, 18, 19, 40x, 51x, 64, 65x, 74x & GOLD RUSH ORANGE LINE
STONEWALL & TRYON INTERSECTION CLOSURE
From Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. through Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 6:00 a.m. the intersection of East Stonewall and South Tryon Streets will be closed to accommodate the installation of a 24” water line and the removal of a temporary bridge associated with the Duke Energy Center construction project. The following detours will be in effect:
From Uptown Charlotte
Routes 2, 16 & 19:
Outbound buses will follow the regular routes to 4th & Tryon Streets, continue on 4th and turn left on Church Street. Route 2 will turn right on Morehead St., left on Mint St. and resume the regular route. Routes 16 & 19 will turn left on Morehead Street. Route 19 will resume the regular route. Route 16 will turn right on South Tryon St. and resume the regular route.
Routes 18, 40x, 51x, 64, 65x & 74x:
Outbound buses will follow the regular routes to Stonewall & Church Streets, continue on Church, turn right on Morehead St., merge onto I-277 and exit onto College Street. Routes 40x, 51x, 64, 65x, 74x will resume the regular route. Route 18 will turn right on Stonewall St. and resume the regular route.
To Uptown Charlotte
Routes 2, 40x, 51x, 64, 65x, 74x:
Inbound buses for Routes 40x, 51x, 64, 65x, 74x will use the regular routes to Stonewall and Church Streets and continue on Church to Morehead Street. Route 2 will follow the regular route to Mint & Morehead Streets. All routes will turn right on Morehead, merge onto I-277, exit onto College Street and resume the regular route.
Routes 18 & 19:
Inbound buses will use the regular routes to College St., turn right on College and resume the regular routes.
Gold Rush Orange Line
From Camden Grandview:
Shuttles will turn right on Morehead St., left on MLK, Jr. Blvd., right on Tryon St. and resume the regular route.
To Camden Grandview:
Shuttles will follow the regular route to Tryon St. & MLK Jr. Blvd., turn right on MLK Jr. Blvd., left on Church St., left on Morehead St. and resume the regular route.
