Gold Rush Orange & Red Lines and Route 81x Wachovia CIC Express Shuttle
Tryon Street between 1st and 5th Streets will be closed from 6:00 PM Thursday, September 10th until 2:00 AM Sunday September 13th for the Blues, Brews and BBQ annual competition.
Local Routes
Customers wishing to board or alight within the affected area are encouraged to do so at the Charlotte Transportation Center, located at 310 E. Trade Street, at stops located along 3rd Street between Church & Brevard Streets, or at stops located along 4th Street between College and Poplar Streets.
Express Routes
The following detours will be in effect:
Routes 45x, 61x & 62x Outbound from Gateway Center:
Buses will not pickup on 3rd Street between Church & College Streets. Customers can board or alight at stops along Church Street between Trade & 3rd Streets or along 3rd Street below College Street.
Routes 45x, 61x & 62x Inbound to Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC):
Buses will not pickup along 4th Street between College & Church Streets. Customers may board or alight at the CTC or along Church Street between 6th & Stonewall Streets.
Routes 40x, 51x, 64x, 65x & 74x, Outbound from 4th & McDowell Streets:
Buses will not pickup along 4th Street between College & Church Streets. Customers may board or alight at the CTC or along Church Street between 4th & Stonewall Streets.
Routes 40x, 51x, 64x, 65x & 74x, Inbound to CTC:
Buses will not pickup along 4th Street between College & Church Streets. Customers may board or alight at the CTC or along Church Street between 4th & Stonewall Streets.
Routes 41x, 48x, 54x, 77x, 80x, 82x, 83x, 85x & 88x Outbound from 4th & McDowell Streets:
Buses will not stop along 4th Street between College & Church Streets or along Church Street between 4th & Trade Streets. Customers may board or alight at the CTC or along Trade Street between Church Street and Gateway Center.
Routes 41x, 48x, 54x, 77x, 80x, 82x, 83x, 85x & 88x Inbound to CTC:
Buses will not pickup on 3rd Street between Church & College Streets. Customers can board or alight at stops along Church Street between Trade & 3rd Streets or along 3rd Street below College Street.
Gold Rush Orange & Red Lines and Route 81x Wachovia CIC Express Shuttle
The following detours will be in effect:
Gold Rush Orange Line (Both Directions):
Shuttles will use College Street between Stonewall and 6th Streets instead of Tryon Street.
Gold Rush Red Line from Gateway Center:
Shuttles will use 5th Street between Graham Street and Caldwell Street instead of Trade Street.
Gold Rush Red Line to Gateway Center:
Shuttles will use 6th Street between College & Church Streets instead of Trade Street.
Route 81x Wachovia CIC Express Shuttle Inbound from CIC:
From the intersection of Trade & Church Streets, inbound shuttles will use Church, Stonewall and College Streets to One Wachovia instead of Trade & Brevard Streets.
