How to Get Involved

CATS strives to fully inform citizens of transportation planning activities and provide a variety of opportunities for public input.  Public meetings were held throughout the the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) phase of study.  Based on the MTC approval of the 2030 Corridor System Plan, the transit mode for this corridor will be reevaluated in the future.  NCDOT is proceeding with the highway widening project.

To receive public meeting invitations by email, click on the Notify Me icon above to sign up for the City's electronic subscription service.  By subscribing to the email notification service, you can receive updates about any of the Rapid Transit Corridors.  When prompted, you will simply check the boxes for the appropriate newsletter and public meeting notices.  When those web pages are updated, you will receive an automatic email notice.

To be added to the Southeast Corridor project mailing list or to request a speaker for your next organizational meeting, e-mail southeastcorridor@ci.charlotte.nc.us.
