Route 54x University Research Park Express
On Tuesday, November 10, 2009, the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will hold a meeting to discuss a proposal to adjust the Route 54X University Research Park Express schedule to match the service levels with the ridership demand. CATS will also discuss a proposal to discontinue the underutilized Presbyterian Medical Plaza University Park and Ride lot. The purpose of the meeting is to give an overview and receive feedback on the proposed schedule. If the proposals are adopted, the changes would be implemented on February 1, 2010.
Passengers are encouraged to stop by any time between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to provide CATS representatives with feedback on the proposed Schedule:

The purpose of the meeting is to give an overview and receive feedback on the proposed schedule. If the proposed schedule is adopted, the service change would be implemented on February 1, 2010. VILLAGE RIDER BUS SERVICE
Routes 97, 98, and 99
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will hold a public meeting on Monday, November 16, 2009 to inform passengers about adjustments to the Village Rider bus services in order to accommodate road construction on NC 73/Sam Furr Road from US 21 (Statesville Road) to east of NC 115 (Old Statesville Road).
The proposed service changes would be implemented on February 1, 2010. Members of the community in the North Mecklenburg service area are encouraged to attend the meeting to get an understanding of how the proposed service changes would affect them.

Route 20 - Sharon Road
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will hold public meetings on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 and Thursday November 19, 2009 to discuss proposed adjustments to Route 20 Sharon Road. The purpose of the meetings is to give an overview and receive feedback from the public on the proposed CATS service changes scheduled to go into effect on February 1, 2010. Members of the community in these service areas are encouraged to attend the meeting to get an understanding of how the proposed service changes would affect them if implemented.
The proposed route changes are as follows:
Route 20 Sharon Road bus service would operate every 30 minutes during the AM Peak and during the PM Peak times and would operate every 45 minutes during weekday midday periods. This proposal is under consideration due to lower ridership on Route 20.

Public Meeting Notice
