Sandra Donaghy - Sandra Stricklin Donaghy was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and graduated from Glassboro University (now Rowan University) in Glassboro, New Jersey. I have been married to Henry for 45 years. I was a stay at home mother for our six children until they were in school then I taught elementary school in New Jersey until we moved to Charlotte in 1983. I have worked 6 years as the Administrative Assistant to the director of First United Methodist Child Development Center. After 21 years of living in Providence Plantation, we moved to Center City in the Fourth Ward five years ago. Living in the city has made me very aware of the violence that goes on in a city and so much of it is done by criminals that are on parole that shouldn't have been let out of prison. I consider it my civic duty to make sure these criminals do not get out and repeat their crimes.
