"To affect the review process of the North Carolina Parole Commission as to prevent violent or career criminals from being given early Parole".

There are several factors that are considered in the parole process. These factors are as follows:

  • Nature and circumstances of the crime
  • Criminal Record
  • Prison Conduct
  • Input from court officials
  • Input from Victims and other interested parties

The Charlotte Mecklenburg Citizens Parole Accountability Committee encourages citizens to voice their opinion by writing protest letters to the Parole Commission at the following address:
