A Neighborhood Improvement Project
In November 2006, voters approved $25,000,000 for neighborhood improvement projects including $2,000,000 for the planning and design of infrastructure projects in the Delta Lake neighborhood located off of Harris Boulevard at Delta Lake Drive. Proposed improvements include:
The construction of this project will not begin until 2012.
Objectives:
- To improve the quality of life for the Delta Lake neighborhood
- To upgrade infrastructure to revitalize the neighborhood

Delta Lake
This 2010 Neighborhood Bond Project will provide neighborhood improvements such as sidewalk, storm drainage, curb & gutter, etc. to upgrade infrastructure and revitalize the neighborhood.
What's happened? The first public meeting was held on September 13, 2007. Click here to review the first communication piece. The second public meeting took place on January 8, 2008. Click here to view the mailers sent in February and March. The Planning Phase and the Design Phase are complete.
What's next? The project is on hold until teh 2010 Neighborhood Improvement Bonds are approved. The Real Estate Acquistion Phase will begin in January 2011 if the bonds are approved.
