Polk & White Neighborhood Improvement Project

A 2000 Neighborhood Bond Project

This project will install sidewalk, curb and gutter along Oak Street

Objectives:

  • Install City standard curb and gutter
  • Install City standard 5' sidewalk and curb to bring Oak Street up to current standards and tie into the new development
  • Construct drainage improvements as needed

 
 


Polk & White
This project will offer improvements such as new sidewalk and curb and gutter.

What's happened?
City staff is working with Armstrong Glen and Associates consultant to pland and design the improvements to the Polk & White neighborhood

What's next?
When final plans are approved, the city's real estate staff will begin working with property owners to acquire right of way and property easements needed for construction work.  Construction should begin in summer of 2008.

Cost:  $500,000
The Engineering & Property Management (E&PM) project team will manage the Polk & White Neighborhood Project with the input of Neighborhood Development, Planning Commission, Transportation Department, and other City departments as needed.
