An Transportation Bond Project
This project will improve Robinson Church Road to benefit motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians. Recommended features may include:
- Sidewalks with planting strips on both sides of the street
- Curb & gutter and drainage improvements
- Bicycle lanes
- Median islands and left turn lanes
- Landscaping
- A roundabout a the intersection of Plott Road/Highland Avenue
These features will be designed for the portion of Robinson Church Road between W.T. Harris Boulevard and Ludell Lane.

Robinson Church Road Farm-To-Market
This project will make improvements to Robinson Church Road to better serve motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians.
What's happened?
City staff worked with engineering consultant US Infrastructure to complete a planning study recommending future standards for the entire length of Robinson Church Road. The study recommended designing and constructing improvements to Robinson Church Road between W.T. Harris Boulevard and Ludell Lane. A public meeting was held August 27. What's Next?
A preliminary design will be presented at a future public meeting to be held in the Spring of 2010. This design will show in greater detail how proposed roadway improvements will affect individual properties.

Cost: $9,000,000
Please note that the project cost will include all costs associated with the project such as planning and design, acquiring the right of way, utility relocation, consultant fees, construction, signalization, permits and landscaping.
