A 2002 Transportation Bond Project
This transportation project will unite two existing portions of Krefeld Drive, both of which are separated by Irvins Creek. This involves building a new road through undeveloped land, constructing a bridge across Irvins Creek, and installing sidewalk, planting strips and bicycle lanes.
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) has considered this road as part of the Southeast Transit Corridor alignment, which means accommodations for bus or light rail transit will be part of this project.
