Planning and Design Phase (Begin Winter 2000)
City staff is currently working with Mulkey Engineering to complete the design of Statesville Road. These plans are based on safety, cost, benefits, traffic analysis and a public involvement process that allowed citizens and nearby businesses to provide input at public meetings.
Funding for real estate acquisition and construction activities was included in the 2008 Transportation Bond Referendum.
