Colony Road Sidewalk Project

A Sidewalk Program Project

This project will provide pedestrian access along the east side of Colony Road from Colony Crossing to Fairview Road.  The project is prioritized in the Tier 1 category and will consist of the following: 

  • 6-foot sidewalk
  • 8-foot planting strip
  • wheel chair ramps
  • curb and gutter
  • asphalt
  • and retaining walls as needed. 
 
 


Colony Road Sidewalk
This project will provide a six-foot sidewalk with an eight-foot wide planting strip along the right hand (east) side of Colony Road from Colony Crossing to Fairview Road.

What's happened? The project is in the design phase. City staff is working on construction plans for the future design improvements.

Cost:  $300,000
Project costs typically include all costs associated with the project such as planning and design, acquiring the right of way, utility relocation, consultant fees, construction, signalization, permits and landscaping.
