Land Development staff reviews and inspects private development sites from single-family subdivisions to large commercial projects in order to ensure compliance with pertinent City ordinances and standards. This group is responsible for coordinating site related City Code requirements through the building permit process.

Sites are reviewed and inspected for driveways/streets (existing/new), erosion control, storm drainage/detention facilities, and tree planting/protection.
 
Land Development also ensures that proposed development complies with City Code including review of flood studies, rezoning requests, storm drainage as-builts, and storm water fee credits.
