Charlotte-Mecklenburg Senior Centers - offers seniors a variety of information sessions and fun activities.  There are two locations (one on Tyvola Rd and another off of Shamrock Rd).

Mecklenburg County Commission's Home Page -explains the purpose of the County Commission. Includes an organizational chart, budget overview, description of the Advisory Boards, contact information, and meeting schedule.

NC Health Info -
offers access to web sites of local health services, providers and programs serving residents of North Carolina. Their lists include local gerontologists, diseases and health issues, and much more.

North Carolina at Your Service (Citizen Portal) -provides information on North Carolina including: seniors & retirement, human services, education, government records, legislative information, media outlets, weather, and much more.

North Carolina Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) -describes the services offered by DHHS (including older and/or disabled adults). Includes a list of DHHS Divisions and contacts. North Carolina Senior Care Program - This program is designed specifically to provide prescription drug assistance to North Carolina seniors diagnosed with cardiovascular disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and/or diabetes and who meet certain income guidelines.  The site includes details on eligibility requirements, an online application, training materials, and other helpful information about the program.
