Shaping Charlotte's Future Workforce One Youth at a Time  

As a component of the Youth Job Connection, the MYEP provides high school seniors (particularly those from CMS FOCUS schools) the opportunity for youth to explore careers of interest before graduation through job shadowing, mentoring and hands-on experience.  To be considered for the program youth must:

- Be a high school senior
- have a Certificate of Completion from the Youth Job Connection
- Successfully complete an application and a background check/drug screening
- Demonstrate previous work experience or participation in extracurricular activities
- Provide professional/personal reference
