Medications can be dangerous. Here are a few tips to help keep you and your family safe from medication and hazardous chemical accidents.

• Remove unnecessary chemicals and medications from the home. 
• Keep medications and chemicals away from children. Use child-resistant caps.  
• Label all chemicals and medications. 
• Lock cabinets and storage areas to prevent children and pets from obtaining access. If cabinets are not locked, place all medication and toxic chemicals out of reach of children.
