On Monday, October 6^th, Charlotte City Manager Curt Walton made a surprise visit to the Charlotte Fire Department's general office to recognize Fire Chief Jon B. Hannan for thirty years of dedicated service. Approximately 20 members of the department gathered in the conference room as Chief Hannan was recognized for his tireless dedication to the citizens of Charlotte.  Curt Walton, extended his thanks for a job well done and stated that he was looking forward to seeing what the next thirty years would bring.
