Construction & Demolition Recycling

Mecklenburg County is committed to reducing the amount of waste that is landfilled every year.   Last year, Mecklenburg County generated over 350,000 tons of construction and demolition waste. Through environmentally responsible practices including reuse and recycling, we can reduce our dependence on landfills as well as protect and preserve our natural resources.
