The P.L.A.N.T. Program (Piedmont Landscape And Naturescape Training) seeks to educate residents of the benefits of  recycling and waste reduction.  Through home composting, smart landscaping strategies, innovative naturescape techniques, and toxicity reduction, P.L.A.N.T. is empowering people with knowledge and inspiration to make a difference in themselves and their communities.

• Take one of our basic PLANT Workshops: a 4-hr. hands-on organic yardcare workshop for homeowners.  Topics:  backyard home composting, soil stewardship, toxicity reduction, grasscycling, and naturescaping.
• For more in-depth knowledge and a 40 hour summation project/volunteer commitment, challenge yourself with a MCPLANT Master Composter:class.  M.C.P.L.A.N.T. delves deeper into P.L.A.N.T. topics with expert speakers, hands-on activities, field trips, and a graduation party at the end.
