2007 Business Stakeholder Satisfaction Study
In 2007, the County Manager's Office hired Lawrimore Communications, Inc. to conduct a study that would identify the levels of awareness about and access to information, and the level of satisfaction businesses have with opportunities to contract with Mecklenburg County for construction, goods and services.
The MWSBE Office utilized data from the study to identify our current performance in MWSBE vendor satisfaction and to gauge what improvements might be needed to meet our MWSBE satisfaction goals. The results of this study are reported below. In addition, the MWSBE satisfaction performance data and results are listed above.

2002 Disparity Study
In 2002, the MWSBE Office selected MGT of America, Inc. to conduct a disparity study of Mecklenburg County. Disparity studies are useful for providing evidence, in accordance with current case law, to determine whether or not and to what extent the need for remedial programs for racial and/or gender discrimination are appropriate. The results of this study are detailed in the reports below.
