About The M/W/SBE Mission
The mission of the Minority, Women, and Small Business Enterprises (M/W/SBE) Program
is to increase participation of minorities, women, and small businesses in Mecklenburg
County business opportunities through outreach, training, and partnerships. We believe
this mission aligns with the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners Vision 2015
and the mission of Mecklenburg County Government.
M/W/SBE is committed to support the economic development of small business enterprises
and the minority community. It is our policy and our goal to provide minority-owned,
women-owned, and small business enterprises as well as other responsible vendors
with fair and reasonable opportunity to participate in Mecklenburg County's business
opportunities.
