In addition to providing Advanced Life Support services countywide to a population of more than 800,000, Medic dispatches all of its own calls and those for 16 volunteer fire and rescue departments.

Medic's commitment to medical excellence and quality service earned the agency the 2006 Pinnacle Award of Excellence as the outstanding EMS system in America.
