Housing Trust Fund to Host Public Forum on July 31

In 2001, Charlotte City Council established the Housing Trust Fund to provide financing for affordable housing and set aside $10 million for the Trust Fund.  In 2002 and 2004, Charlotte voters approved another $20 million and $15 million respectively for the Trust Fund.  Charlotte voters approved an additional $10 million in 2006.

 

Housing Trust Fund dollars are made available to developers to build and rehabilitate affordable housing.
