THE FIRST TEE: FOR GOLF AND LIFE
The First Tee of Charlotte partners with Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation to bring golf instruction programs to youth, ages 5-18. The First Tee has 260 chapters worldwide, and runs a Golf Learning Academy at the County's Revolution Golf Course, 2661 Barringer Drive.

The program reaches out to youth who otherwise might not learn the game. The First Tee stresses core values: integrity, responsibility, respect, honesty, confidence, perseverance, sportsmanship and good judgment. Learn more about The First Tee

In addition to the regular course, Sunset now has a 9 hole "Learners Course," a par-3 layout great for beginners or practice.
Charges for the Learners Course are:
Mon-Fri: $9 to walk
$13.50 with cart
Sat-Sun: $11.50 to walk
$16 with cart
To replay the 9 holes "around again" is an extra $5.
