What's Next:

Construction is set to begin November 2009 along Four Mile Creek proper.  Additional analysis of the greenway and bridge design near the Clearbrook Rd. entrance is underway.  As soon as a solution is found, construction will also begin on the connection to the Community Center and downtown Matthews.  Construction duration is expected to be approximately 1 year.

Construction Update:

The construction of Four Mile Creek Greenway is upon us.  Within the next two weeks, the project contractor will be installing a primary construction entrance at the future trail access location on Rockwell View Road.  Equipment will be delivered to the site and silt fence and other erosion control measures will be installed.  Once these measures are in place, trail clearing and grading will begin.
