Irwin Creek Greenway - Revolution Park

Length:  1 mile

Location:  West Blvd. to Barringer Dr.

Description:  Traversing Revolution Park and Golf Course, this greenway will extend northeast or upstream from the existing trail through Clanton Park.  The greenway will also connect to the new Revolution Sports and Learning Academy and The First Tee of Charlotte.  The greenway will be constructed in two phases.  The first phase will extend from Barringer Dr. to a path leading to the Revolution Sports and Learning Academy and First Tee facilities.  The second phase will extend the trail underneath Remount Rd. to Revolution Park and West Blvd.

What's Next:  Construction of the first phase of this greenway through the golf course will be complete in November 2009, but will open with the Revolution Sports and Learning Academy, likely in Spring 2010.  Completion of design and construction of the second phase through Revolution Park to West Blvd. is delayed due to budget constraints.
