Location: I-77 to Beatties Ford Road (Huntersville)
Description: The Torrence & McDowell Creek Greenway will provide connections for biking, walking, skating and jogging to many neighborhoods, schools and retail areas. When finished, these new sections combined with the existing Torrence Creek Greenway will run about 5 miles total.
Timeline: This greenway project is currently under design, which is anticipated to be complete by late summer 2008. Construction will most likely begin in the fall of 2008 and should last about 1 year.
