For information on programs for high school students or scout troops, or if you do not see a program description that meets your needs, please contact us about scheduling a custom program.  Other programs are available upon request.

Program Scheduling:
The nature centers have developed nine theme-based programs for grades Kindergarten through 8th from which you can choose.  Theme-based programs allow students and teachers the opportunity to explore the natural world in greater depth.  Each theme contains four or five lessons that build upon one central concept.  Each lesson complements the others within the theme.  This allows large and small groups the flexibility to rotate between several lessons while focusing their learning on one ecological concept.

Environmental education/nature study programs are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. A minimum of four (4) weeks advance notice is suggested. Spring is an extremely popular field study time so a twelve (12 ) week notice is recommended.

Programs should be scheduled with the Enviromental Educators at their respective centers.
