Independence Park 10 Year Vision Plan:
Pedestrian connectivity and the usability on the eastern end of the park have been lacking for some time. With help from the community and guiding principles established in the new Uptown Parks Master Plan, Park and Recreation staff is creating a 10 year vision for future projects at the far end of the park. The guiding plan will evaluate historical context, current and future needs of the surrounding neighborhood and look at ways to increase the overall appearance of the park.
