BANK OF AMERICA VOLUNTEERS HELP BUILD NEW FACILITIES AT NAOMI DRENAN RECREATION CENTER AND PARK, JULY 25
July 24, 2008

Charlotte, NC—  Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation hosts about 50 volunteers from Bank of America on Friday, July 25, 2008, beginning at 9 am at Naomi Drenan Recreation Center an Park, 950 Beal Street.

The volunteers will build park benches, create a horseshoe pit, work on landscaping and paint a pickleball court, which is a sport similar to badminton and tennis and is played with a wooden paddle. In the afternoon, Park Recreation and the bank volunteers will host a field day for neighborhood youth. Bank of America will donate backpack full of school supplies to each youth attending the field day.
