The first expansion kickoff was held in the Lockwood Community. Because it's population and other community dynamics were very different from those of Tryon Hills, it was separated out for it's own PSN initiatives.

 

The kickoff was held in conjunction with the neighborhoods' annual block party. The Assistant US Attorney and Director of Fighting Back gave presentations at the event. There were activities for kids, performances by a local youth group, and lots of food and fellowship. Community Police Officers were there for support as well.
