Community Support Service's Prevention & Intervention Services Division, specializing in domestic violence, substance use and violence prevention, is working to integrate services around coexisting issues. By connecting the dots among multiple forms of violence, we are working to promote a healthier, safer and more equitable community through intervention, primary and secondary prevention. Improved integration of County and community services will improve the health and well-being of Mecklenburg County residents. This integrated collaborative approach fosters effective practice and knowledge about the critical elements of prevention, including:
