The Mecklenburg County Board of Elections engages over 1000 volunteer precinct officials at 195 polling places on Election Days. If you like people and want to provide an excellent voting experience, this opportunity is for you!

Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation relies on volunteers to help keep its facilities and programs humming with activity. Coach youth athletes, monitor parks and greenways, teach a class, landscape a greenway or park - the sky's the limit.

Enrich local education by volunteering or developing strategic partnerships with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. The Land Use and Environmental Services Agency offers opportunities to help clean up and beautify Mecklenburg County. Through Storm Water Services you can adopt a stream or plant a tree.
