Revaluation and Appeal Action Steps
County Manager Harry L. Jones Sr. has provided the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) with information about the County’s response to a number of revaluation issues that were raised at the March 20, 2012 BOCC meeting:
Superior Court Rules in Favor of Mecklenburg County
(Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority v. Mecklenburg County)
March 7, 2012 – In an order filed today, Superior Court Judge Robert C. Ervin substantially granted Mecklenburg County’s Motion to Dismiss a lawsuit filed on July 14, 2011 against the County by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority (dba, Carolinas HealthCare System, CHS).
