Come join your community for a memorial walk and press conference to kick off April 2011 Child Abuse Awareness & Prevention Month.

We will meet at Our Children’s Memorial Walkway across the street from Frazier Park to begin the short walk at 10:30 a.m. and return to the park after the walk for the press conference. Please wear blue and a blue ribbon to support children.

Children and family services agencies will have booths available with information and activities for community members.

Every adult has a role to play in supporting children and families. Only when communities work together can we truly offer children the opportunity to grow into caring, contributing adults.
