Financial & Support Services provides the oversight for all financial functions within the Mecklenburg County Health Department.  This includes the services provided directly by the county as well as monitoring indirect services provided through contractual services, i.e. Carolinas HealthCare System. 

Financial Services:

Financial & Support Services (FSS) also provides support services to include, but not limited to:

• Budget Planning and Development
• Fiscal Monitoring of Contract with Carolinas HealthCare System
• Service contract management
• Grant Fiscal Reporting and Compliance
• Monitor all departmental expenditures and collections

Support Service Activities:

• Board of County Commissioners Action Requests
• Communication equipment and contractual arrangements
• Miscellaneous activities, i.e. technology needs, staff directory, coordination of office location/relocation needs and other administrative projects
