SPECIAL TWO-FOR-ONE WEEKS OFFERED IN HARD ECONOMY AT PARK AND REC’S ‘YES WE CAN!’ TEEN SUMMER CAMPS!

Charlotte, NC –   Sign-up now for Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation’s “Yes We Can!” Teen Summer Camps at six locations for ages 12–15, Mondays-Fridays, 8am–5pm, June 22–August 14, 2009.  Attend for any number of weeks. A new two-for-one fee schedule helps families facing a tough economy!

These day camps provide a different recreational experience each week and focus on enhancing self-esteem and social skills. Vamps include guest speakers, team building, college tours, entrepreneur workshops, visual and performing arts, service learning projects, culinary arts, sports fundamentals, outdoor adventures, trips, tours, and more!
 
Cost is $55 for one week and get the second week FREE!  This special deal applies for any number of weeks.

Yes We Can! Teen Summer Camps will operate at:

  • Amay James Recreation Center, 2425 Lester St.
  • Phillip O. Berry Recreation Center, 440 Tuckaseegee Rd.
  • St. Paul ”Ray of Hope” Center, 1401 N. Allen St.
  • Methodist Home Recreation Center, 3200 Shamrock Dr.
  • West Charlotte Recreation Center, 2400 Kendall Dr.
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. School Site, 500 Bilmark Ave.
