Charlotte, NC -- Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department seeks citizen comments about the design and construction of the next leg of Upper McAlpine Creek Greenway.  This new section will run about one mile, extending the existing greenway south from Sardis Road to Providence Road.

Mecklenburg's Greenways Advisory Council will host a community workshop for any interested citizen to present ideas and comments on Thursday, January 29, 2009, at 7 pm at The Fletcher School, 8500 Sardis Road, Charlotte, NC 28270. The workshop will be held in Rankin Conference Room, enter through the main entrance.
