Charlotte, NC--  Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation and Ray's Splash Planet offer a great after-school program to help working parents find a safe, organized, and reasonably-priced alternative to child care. 

Ray's After School takes place at Ray's Splash Planet, 215 North Sycamore Street, 3-6pm weekdays.  Activities include: peer tutoring, snacks and beverages, arts and crafts, games, field trips, and SWIMMING!  The fee is $41.25/per child per week.  Register by February 16 for the period through June 2009 and receive a free month of After School care.

Ray's Splash Planet has been designated by CMS Transportation as a bus drop-off site for most magnet schools. This program is underway and ongoing. Register anytime. To register call 311, or go to www.parkandrec.com, click on Eparks, and use the following course barcode numbers:
