A CHANCE TO LEARN ABOUT MANY FUN THINGS TO DO AND SEE

Charlotte, NC – There's so much going on at Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation! The 2009 Spring Fling/Program Showcase is a great place to learn about all of it on Saturday, March 21, 2009, 1pm-3pm at Freedom Park, 1900 East Blvd. 

This event offers information and exhibits about Park and Recreation programs and events, including those for pre-school children, youth, teens, adults, and seniors. Visit demonstrations, booths and tables for information on nature centers, recreation centers, special events, sports, Therapeutic Recreation, the Aquatic Center, Ray's Splash Planet, greenways, etc. Emphasis is on spring and summer activities.

The Showcase is FREE, so take a walk in the park and join the fun around the band shell beside the Freedom Park Lake. The event also offers entertainment, games, food venders and more.
