Basketball Coaches Needed At Winget Rec Center
11/23/2009

Charlotte, NC— Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department seeks volunteers with basic basketball skills and knowledge to coach youngsters, ages 8 and younger.

Winget Recreation Center in southwest Charlotte has become the “hot spot” in the Steele Creek area for youth basketball programs which need coaches for already existing teams. Practices are held in the gymnasium at Winget Recreation Center, 2235 Winget Road (inside Winget Park Elementary School). Park and Recreation will conduct background checks on volunteers.

If you are interested in becoming a coach, please contact Lori.Saylor@MecklenburgCountyNC.gov or 704 336-5478.
