Celebrate Earth Day With Films That Can Change Your World

Park and Recreation is partnering with a host of environmental organizations to bring the SYRCL Wild and Scenic Film Festival Tour to Charlotte on April 22.
Charlotte, NC- Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation, in partnership with Clean Air Carolina, Catawba River Keeper, Sustain Charlotte, and Green Drinks Charlotte, will bring the SYRCL Wild and Scenic Film Festival Tour to The Fillmore, 1000 NC Music Factory Blvd on April 22. The festival aims to increase environmental awareness through inspiring and educational films which may motivate people to go out and make a difference in their community and around the world.

The Charlotte festival will feature beautiful and inspiring films, speakers from various environmental organizations, and opportunities for food and drink purchases. This is an event for the whole family and will be an afternoon of fun and inspiration.

Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. and films begin at 1 p.m. There is a suggested donation of $5 to attend the event, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Park and Recreation. Tickets can be purchased here. Films include:
