Stay Safe, Stay Informed: Domestic Violence Awareness Day at Southview Rec Center Set for Sept 19
9/12/2012
Park and Recreation in partnership with To Serve with Love Ministries and the Domestic Violence Advocacy Council will host Domestic Violence Awareness Day at Southview Recreation Center, 1720 Vilma Street, on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 6 p.m.

The free event serves to empower and educate people about the effective tools and necessary contact information when involved in or aware of a domestic violence situation. Residents are invited to hear testimonials from guest speakers and participate in a mini self-defense class.

Light refreshments will be served.

For more information, please contact Stephanie Brace-Sanders or call 704-392-7452.
