Environmental education staff offer weekend and weeknight environmental education programs for the general public on a variety of topics from birds and butterflies to wetlands and woodcocks.
For our current offerings, browse our online program registration system, E-Parks . You will need your bar code and pin to register via our secure site. Patrons who have not registered for our programs in the past will need to create a new account. For questions, please call 704-598-8857.
Public programs are advertised in the our quarterly newsletter, Natural Connections.
In addition to advertising environmental education and nature interpretive programs for the general public, Natural Connections provides updates on Division initiatives, staff and volunteers, nature-related book reviews, species spotlights, and feature articles. It is available at the County's three nature centers or you can view the current issue at the link above. Become a nature center member and receive Natural Connections at your home.
