The lower three levels will include a rental car facility with 3,000 rental car spaces, check-in counters and a service area to wash and refuel vehicles. The new deck is scheduled to open in November 2014.
Currently, the timeline for the East Hourly deck’s demolition is as follows:
- Friday, March 1: The entrance to the East Hourly deck closed. Customers may choose among CLT’s other parking options.
- Friday, March 8: Demolition will begin and is scheduled to take approximately one month to complete.
Drivers picking up passengers are asked to use the Cell Phone lot off Rental Car Road. They may also park in the Daily decks or Long Term lots and take a shuttle bus to the terminal. For more details about parking options at CLT, visit the Parking web pages here
